Welcome!
I am Kerry Taylor – a wife, teacher, mom, traveler, and ambitious person who likes to pursue news things. I adore my husband who helps me through all of my goals whether big or small. We have been married for 23 years and there have been MANY goals for this girl! I am the type of person if I choose to try something new, I go for it! We live in Florida and have two grown children who are living their best life and are goal setters themselves.
I currently teach 3rd grade and LOVE my job. Teaching was one of my goals in my life and I achieved this along with a Masters Degree in Education (thank you for my husbands help!) You can kind of see where I am going with this …… I am never stagnant. I am always looking for a new goal in this life. There is so much we can achieve!! It started a year ago right before the new year of 2019. I was thinking of starting a blog. Honestly, it was a New Year’s Resolution for 2019 and I never did it. I let it go and this year I definitely was going to make it happen. Friends would ask me – why? What’s your theme or goal? Food? Travel? Well, those are tough questions to answer. BUT I knew I wanted to share all the great things that I have experienced or want to experience. If I make something and it is a success, I want to share. My daughter and I recently started hiking and taking road trips. I want to share these experiences to hopefully inspire someone else to try the same things.
This leads me to tell you about my page – A Tayllored Life. Yes, my last name is Taylor (another thank you to my hubby!), however, this is not the reasoning for the name of the page. I know there are two L’s but it had to be that way. I felt it was unique. Let’s talk about the definition of tailor – (verb) is to make or adapt for a particular purpose or person (thank you Google!). My whole life has been tailored per say to fit me and my goals. We all want to customize our life and we do it by adapting and modifying to what we want. My BIG question for my followers is “How are you going to Tayllor your life?” What is something you want to achieve and haven’t done it yet?
